    The Project contained 3 games in which all the members would play 2 games each.  The games were :- 1. Lip Print 2. WaterPong 3. FaceThe Cookie  The game ‘Lip Print’ was played by the Male members only, in which the members had to apply lipstick and were given blank white sheet and they had to make lipstick prints on it.  Those who have made maximum lip Print would win the game.  The game ‘Water Pong’ was played with the Female members only, in which 10 cups were kept in a triangular form filled with water the members were given ping pong ball and were told to aim the cups from a distances.

    • The Project Pictionary was basically a drawing event were one of the team mates have to draw the picture whereas another team mates have to guess the picture drawn within given time. • There were two bowls, in which one of the bowl contained names of the things which has to be drawn whereas other bowl contained chits which determines whether right or left hand is to be used for drawing.

    The event was inter-collegiate, giving students all across Mumbai this big platform. The rules were simple, participate with a team comprising of three individuals and present on the whole of G.S.T for the eliminations and a certain avenue affected by the G.S.T for the finals. There were a total of twelve teams who participated in the event and presented successfully to the judges Mr. Aalok Mehta and Mr. Ashit Shah who operate C.A firms. Once all presentations were done, the judges themselves addressed the audience and appreciated the efforts of the participants. After that the qualifying eight teams were announced.

    Rally for Rivers is a campaign launched by Isha Foundation in 2017 to tackle the scarcity of water across rivers in India. It was aimed to create awareness on protecting rivers.     All eight teams presented on the sector they were given. Media, airlines, telecom, technology, cement, insurance, E-Commerce and automobiles. The hours of effort put in the presentation and learning the material was clearly seen. The judges tricked and questioned the participants on some points, sometimes they fumbled, sometimes they answered, but they always learnt. Once all presentations were done, the panel was then open for discussion with the crowd, solving all their G.S.T related queries and educating them more. Once the panel discussion was done, the judges spoke about it was a privilege to them to be part of such an amazing event and that the college has been successful in doing something that the entire of India hasnt. The Chief guest, Mr. Subhash Moral who is the Additional Commissioner of State Tax (G.S.T), VAT-1, Mumbai he was accompanied by Mr. Ajay Modi, Managing Director of M/S Metaltrim India Pvt. Ltd. Joint by Mr. Mangesh Gondavale, the deputy commissioner of state tax government of Maharashtra alongside Mr. Shailesh Ghedia, The President for consumers guidance forum, he also happens to have other prestigious titles to his name. Lastly, the panel consisted of Mr. Valmik V. Guthe who is an advocate at the high court.

    • A team of 6 players in total was allowed to register in which 2 players had to be there for substitution both for Frisbee as well as Futsal Mania. • A registration amount of Rs.180 was charged for Ultimate Frisbee and Rs.300 for Futsal Mania per team. • On day the field was set up by our volunteers and the event was conducted. • Futsal had knock out rounds on both 15th and 16th September and a league for Frisbee was arranged only on 15th September.

    A Knowledge Workshop on Wealth Management was organised by Ms. Fleur Dsouza, BMS faculty on Monday, 18th September 2017 at the college's Career Fest DISHA 2017. It was organized as part of the curriculum of BMS Finance specialization and was attended by students of SYBMS and TYBMS. Ms. Saniah Baig, Manager, Membership (Family Offices) and Ms. Foram Sheth, Assistant Manager - Knowledge Management at Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI) conducted the workshop in the college Auditorium. The topics covered during the workshop were Meaning of Wealth Management and Private Banking, Wealth management needs of HNIs, Products and Services, Onshore and Offshore Wealth management, Career opportunities in the sector, etc. The workshop provided new insights to students regarding a niche area of Finance. Post-workshop, The Association also offered Internship opportunities to the students in various domains.

    As part of its extra-curricular activities, SIES-C&E organised its annual career guidance festival, ‘DISHA-The Edu-tainment Fiesta.’ Through Disha, we strive to provide a platform to enrich the lives of the youth by educating them about the myriad career opportunities- mainstream and off beat by conducting a relevant seminars and workshops. Apart from this, we also organised various competitions to provide interested students with a platform to exhibit their skills and talents, and be judged. These competitions were infused with trends of the day, and a criterion which put to test the participants’ aesthetic, physical, mental, ethical and vocational skills. This year, Disha was scheduled for 18 th -20 th September 2017. However, due to heavy downpour, we had to reschedule the events of 20 th September to 23 rd September. Disha 2017 embraced the dawn of new age careers to help students gain a competitive edge and to make them aware of the resources at hand to achieve efficiency and potential.
