    Cloud computing is one of the emerging web based virtualization technology which provides unlimited computational, storage and service delivery and is accessible on demand by any web based devices. Whereas, Internet of things (IoT) is a networked connection of physical devices. Cloud computing technology is ubiquitous, meaning computing in the background with technology embedded in the things we already use. Whereas IoT is pervasive in nature which involves devices like handhelds, small, easy-to-use devices through which we'll be able to get information on anything and everything. In recent years, use of internet has accelerated use of cloud services and IoT. This is very helpful to support education online. Universities and affiliated higher education institutions have become more reliable on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). An integration of IoT and cloud computing for higher education system has a new wave of change which will bring new opportunities for the improvement of both teaching-learning processes. It will also help in improving the infrastructure of education institutions and constructing the smart campus. This paper focuses on the need of integrating IoT and Cloud for education system, its challenges and impacts and its various applications which can be used in the field of education.

Universities and affiliated higher education institutions have become more reliable on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It plays an important role in enabling educational services to be delivered to the users. Most educational online services in institutions are running on cloud techniques to provide services to students, Professors, researchers and administrative staff. This study focuses on the various tools and techniques which can be used to enhance the use of cloud services in education and challenges of adopting cloud computing techniques in higher education institutions and how to accelerate the use of cloud services to efficiently deliver the educational resources.
